Youth Development Services (YDS) Program

Heluna Health’s Youth Development Services (YDS) program, in partnership with Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti's Office of Gang Reduction and Youth Development (GRYD) initiative, empowers communities to break the cycle of violence in Los Angeles by promoting peace, self-sufficiency, and quality of life for youth and young adults through gang intervention and violence prevention activities.

Contra Costa County Health, Housing & Homeless Services (H3)

Ensuring an integrated system of care, from prevention through intervention, for homeless individuals and families within the Contra Costa community.

Saving Our Legacy (SOL) Project

The SOL Project advocates for healthy, smoke-free communities for African Americans and other populations who suffer disproportionately as a result of social conditions and tobacco use. Learn about how the SOL Project is supporting policies to reduce second-hand smoke in outdoor areas, restrict the sale of menthol and flavored tobacco products, and engage youth.

Little by Little School Readiness Program

Heluna Health’s Little by Little School Readiness Program is an evidenced-based early literacy program. With a strong emphasis on parent engagement, the Little by Little Program was developed to create a stimulating home environment, foster literacy, and improve school readiness for underserved, low-income children. See how this unique program is administered through the Women, Infants and Children’s (WIC) program.

PHFE WIC

WIC is the USDA-funded Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children, which provides nutritious foods and nutrition education. PHFE WIC, a program of Heluna Health, is the largest local agency WIC program in the nation, serving nearly 200,000 participants each month in Los Angeles, Orange and San Bernardino Counties. APHA Public-Private Partnerships Panel Event

We brought leading thinkers and doers together at the 2018 APHA Annual Meeting to explore the key elements of successful partnerships that can lead to improved health outcomes at scale. Stopping Diabetes In Its Tracks

A cross-sector coalition with Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center, Community Translational Research Center (CTRI), ParkTree Community Health Center, Heluna Health, UniHealth Foundation, and Claremont Graduate University is reaching people in their communities to conquer diabetes.
